Our Costa Rica family vacation travel experts have designed this wonderful 11 day/10 night itinerary combining rainforests, volcanoes, beaches, and wildlife. This package includes the most popular tours in each region with stays at the leading five-star resorts in Cost Rica. Day 1: Arrive at San Jose International Airport. A contact person will pick you up in the customs area and take you to meet your driver. Board the van for the 3½ hour drive to Manuel Antonio. This beautiful ride takes you west of the Central Valley to the town of Atenas. Traverse the southern mountains towards Orotina, home of some of the country's top fruit producers. Continue towards the beaches of the Central Pacific, and check in to your hotel in Manuel Antonio.

Day 2: After an early breakfast, you will be picked up in the hotel lobby for a private tour of the renowned Manuel Antonio National Park. Spot three species of monkeys, sloths, iguanas, coatimundis, and a wide range of birds and reptiles. After the tour, stay and relax on the pristine beaches of the park or return to the hotel. Overnight in Manuel Antonio.

Days 3 and 4: Relax or take advantage of the many activities available in the magnificent Manuel Antonio region. Optional activities include fishing, kayaking, sailing, mangrove tour, horseback riding, white water rafting, and canopying. Overnight in Manuel Antonio.

Day 5: Check out of the hotel. Our driver will pick you up for a 15-minute drive to the Quepos Airstrip. Board the flight to Arenal. Upon arrival, board the van for a short transfer to your hotel in Arenal. Check in to you room then spend the afternoon and evening enjoying the hot springs and gardens.

Days 6 and 7: Explore the Arenal Volcano region. Optional activities include visiting the Fortuna River Waterfalls, rafting on the Sarapiqui River, canyoning (waterfall rappels), Sky Trek canopy tour, kayaking, Arenal National Park tour, Venado Caves tour, and the Hanging Bridges tour.  Overnight in Arenal.

Day 8: Check out of the hotel. Your driver will pick you up for the 25-minute transfer to the Arenal Airstrip. Check in to the flight to Liberia. Upon arrival, board the van for the 30-minute transfer to your hotel. Check in to your room(s) at the luxurious Four Seasons Resort at the beach in Papagayo.

Days 9 and 10: Enjoy the beach and explore the Papagayo. Overnight in Papagayo.

Day 11: Check out of the hotel and take the 2-hour shuttle to the Liberia International Airport. Check in to your return flight.
