The murky waters of Barra del Colorado, in a remote are of the Caribbean near the Nicaraguan border, appeals to the fly fishing aficionado.  Spiny lobsters, enormous fighting fish, tarpon, and snook lurk in these waters.  Another less touristy option is the nearby Parismina.
