The Canopy Tour at Arenal Ecoglide Park is located 3.5 km west of the catholic church of La Fortuna, San Carlos.  Arenal Ecoglide Park’s canopy was built following the highest standards, approved by I.C.T.  (Costa Rican Tourism Institute) and insured by I.N.S. (National Insurance Institute) providing complete security to our customers.   This canopy utilizes a double cable system, in which two parallel cables are used, one to glide on, and the other to help provide the best security for our visitors. 

The canopy consists of 12 cables and 14 platforms which are divided into two sections.  Most platforms can be found perfectly positioned among the trees which provide our visitors greater contact with nature.  Within the tour, you will find the Tarzan Swing, which will allow you to swing from a platform into the forest while attached to security cables.  You will enjoy your maximum adrenaline rush with this attraction. 

The tour is divided in two sections:

The first section consists of 8 cables and 9 platforms, with lengths up to 210 meters and an average height of 20 meters.

Following the first section, you will find the Tarzan Swing.

To finish, the second section consists of 4 cables and 5 platforms, with lengths from 100 meters up to 430 meters.

Includes: transportation from La Fortuna & Tabacon, Tarzan  Swing, free soft drinks of your choice after the tour when you arrive at our reception area. 

What to bring: long pants, closed toed shoes or hiking boots.  We suggest you use a sun block and insect repellant.
